Which quarters are worth more than face value?
All quarters dated 1964 or earlier (90% silver, about $4–$6 each in metal), the 1932-D and 1932-S Washington keys, Standing Liberty and Barber quarters in any grade, and modern error coins such as the 2004-D Wisconsin extra-leaf variety.
Are state quarters worth anything?
Circulated state quarters (1999–2008) are worth face value. The exceptions are error varieties — the Wisconsin extra leaf ($50+), some doubled dies — and uncirculated or silver-proof issues sold in mint sets.
